What are "Other Goodies"?
With your initial sign-up, you'll receive a FREE Shirt. Other goodies will change over time, but they include things like stickers, posters, signed prints, exclusive content, and one-off promo items you can't get anywhere else. Though we only promise the initial "goody bag", we'd like to send surprise goodies out from time to time as well.
Why are there download restrictions on the monthly model?
Because we're offering full, unlimited downloads of every video on TrenchcoatX for the price of essentially 6 individual videos, we're trying to cut down on mass-downloading scripts. If we didn't cap downloads at 5 per day, a user could download every single video on the site on their first day. To keep our prices low, we have to limit monthly users to 5 downloads per day. Note that downloading other resolutions of a given video will not count as a separate download.
What is a "Mobile Stream"?
Since handheld/mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc) don't necessarily hold on to downloaded files, we stream to mobile devices instead. Because any number of things could cause a hiccup in the connection, we allow twice as many mobile streams per day as there are downloads. For 3-month and 6-month subscribers, there are no restrictions on streaming.
Can I stream videos from my non-mobile device?
Absolutely - it's a major perk of membership since we don't allow streaming to non-mobile devices for users who purchase videos individually.
Membership gives you streaming privileges. For monthly users, you are allowed 10 streams per day. For 3-month and 6-month subscribers, you can stream as much as you want.
When is the download count reset?
Download counts are reset every night at midnight (12am) PST.
Are there any limits for the 3-month or 6-month plans?
Nope. If you buy either a 3-month (Quarterly) or a 6-month (Bi-Annual) subscription, you can go hog wild.
Do I get a discount on either plan if I've bought videos in the past?
Sorry, no. We appreciate that you've downloaded videos in the past, and hope you will continue to do so in the future, but it's not feasible to discount a new product based on the price of a past product - especially as we will always continue to sell individual videos on demand for users who prefer pay-as-you-go models.
